Frequently Asked Questions

Can I perform system maintenance myself?

Absolutely! The #1 thing you can do for your equipment is making sure the filters are up to date. It's also important to keep the outside portion of your air conditioner clean and free of dirt and grime.

If I replace my outdoor unit, do I also need to replace my indoor unit?

While you can keep the furnace the same, your air conditioner consists of two components, one outside and one inside. Unfortunately when you replace the outdoor portion, you generally need to replace the indoor portion as well because they are most often built for different refrigerants.

Should I cover my air conditioner in the fall and winter?
